WELLINGTON (Reuters) - Dan Carter hopes to make his return to provincial rugby on Sept. 28 with an eye to working his way back to fitness in time for New Zealand's third Bledisloe Cup clash with Australia next month, the flyhalf said on Wednesday.
Carter has not played since breaking his leg in the Super Rugby final on Aug. 2 and had initially hoped to be back in time for the last two Rugby Championship clashes in Argentina and South Africa.
