Hannah to spread $ports fund where they matter most

PETALING JAYA: The increased sports allocation under Budget 2026 is expected to benefit all stakeholders in the industry, particularly the athletes under the elite Road to Gold (RTG) programme as they continue their build-up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Out of the RM580mil announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the tabling of Budget 2026 in Parliament on Friday, the RTG programme will receive RM12mil in funding.
