PETALING JAYA: A breakthrough performance from women’s doubles pair Karen Lyne-Tee Ai Xin in Slovenia has given head coach Beh Lee Wei optimism of ending a 34-year gold drought in table tennis at the Thailand SEA Games in December.

Karen-Ai Xin made their first final appearance in a World Table Tennis (WTT) Tour event after beating Germans Sophia Klee Avatar-Franziska Schreiner Avatar 13-11, 11-1, 11-8 in the Feeder Ototec 1 tournament in Slovenia last weekend.
