NSC amend policy to allow expectant athletes to continue training and serving nation

KUALA LUMPUR: Female athletes who become pregnant no longer have to worry about being dropped as the National Sports Council (NSC) have amended their policy to allow them to continue training while serving the nation.

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said that starting this year, the NSC have revised the clause in athletes’ contracts under their jurisdiction to reflect this change.
