PETALING JAYA: Capturing the men’s doubles title in the All-England at the age of 20 remains one of former shuttler Tan Boon Heong’s most memorable moments in his partnership with Koo Kien Keat.

Boon Heong and the then 22-year-old Kien Keat were competing for the first time in the prestigious tourney in 2007 but defied the odds to beat China’s top pair Fu Haifeng-Cai Yun to win the crown in Birmingham.
