KUALA LUMPUR: The national fencing squad created a sensation when they won the gold medal in the men’s team sabre event at the Southeast Asian Fencing Federation (SEAFF) Championships yesterday.
In the championships held at the Tan Sri Hamzah Arena, Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM), the national squad comprising Syed Adam Emir Putra, Tyrsten Fong, Tony Lee and Wong Tzer Chyuan subdued Thailand 45-40 to win the gold.
