Olympics setback due to lack of mental psychologist

KUALA LUMPUR: Insufficient mental psychologists, overdependency on senior athletes, the need to establish a code of conduct for athletes and a glaring lack of women para athletes – these are the findings from the post-mortem of the performance of Malaysian contingent at the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

The respective national sports association representatives and coaches were invited to present their respective sports reports and also any arising issues as well as suggestions for improvement for the preparation of athletes towards the upcoming Olympic Games.
