KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has assured that the government will continue to pay attention to sports to help boost the nation’s sporting development.

Anwar said despite the current economic slowdown and financial constraints, the government will never neglect the field of sports as it is considered an important element that unites all the people in the country.
