PETALING JAYA: Malaysia can avoid sending one of the smallest contingents for the Olympic Games in Paris if the Under-23 football squad can defy the odds.

To qualify for the Games, the squad led by Juan Torres Garrido must aim to get to the semi-finals of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup, from April 15-May 3 in Doha, Qatar.
