Aaliyah misses out on final spot at World C’ships but her tricks are big hits

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian waterski star Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah (pic) continues to wear a smile despite not making it to the final of the tricks and slalom in the ongoing World Championships.

The 20-year-old Aaliyah had a slow start after scoring 2.50/55/12.00 to settle for the 47th spot in the women’s open slalom event at the Sunset Lakes in Florida on Wednesday.
