Lawn bowls to be included in Podium Programme after success at worlds

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian lawn bowls team are glad to know that the National Sports Council (NSC) will soon include them in the Podium Programme after their success at the World Bowls Championships in Australia.

NSC athlete division director Jefri Ngadirin revealed that sports such as lawn bowl, snooker and billiards, as well as kickboxing, are set to be listed in the elite athlete preparation programme.
