PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Karate Federation (Makaf) president Datuk Nur Azmi Ahmad has raised the bar for the national exponents at the Asian Games (Sept 23-Oct 8) where he wants them to come back with gold from Hangzhou.
Azmi feels that winning medals should not be a problem in karate, which used to regularly produce gold on the continent’s biggest sporting stage but the gold also matters for the improving national team.
