Shazrin sets sights on securing early ticket to Olympics

Sail away with gold: Nur Shazrin Latif (centre) on the podium with her competitors after winning the ICLA 6 (Laser Radial) class in the JSAF Enoshima Olympic Week in Japan.

PETALING JAYA: Nur Shazrin Latif wants to lay down a big marker for Malaysian sailing before she signs off from the sport in the near future.

The 25-year-old has a chance to secure early qualification for the Paris Olympics next year if she wins the gold in the ICLA 6 (Laser Radial) class at the Hangzhou Asian Games in September.
