Yin Jie wins first gold for Malaysia in world juniors


PETALING JAYA: Wushu exponent Kwan Yin Jie made a golden debut in the World Junior Championships after winning the first gold for Malaysia.

The 14-year-old from Kuala Lumpur won the boys’ Group B daoshu (broadsword) event with 9.216 points in Tangerang, Indonesia yesterday.
