PETALING JAYA: Prem Kumar, R. Sharmendran and C. Shahmalarani (pic) will be heading to the Asian Karate Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan brimming with confidence after striking gold for Malaysia in the Finnish Cup in Tampere.
Prem, the 2019 Philippines SEA Games gold medallist, pulled off a 1-0 win over Sharmendran in the final of the kumite below 75kg category.
