PETALING JAYA: Making your debut in a major competition can be nerve-wracking.

But national table tennis player Tee Ai Xin shrugged off her jitters to stun Puerto Rico’s Melanie Diaz 11-6, 11-8, 15-13 in the opening group match at the World Team Championships on Friday in Chengdu, China.
