PETALING JAYA: It is time we hit the pace button in sports development to catch up with the best in the world.

That was the message given by the National Sports Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail after the completion of the Malaysia Games (Sukma) on Saturday.
