THE spirit of Asean solidarity was on full display as the 31st edition of the SEA Games opened formally in Hanoi last night after a year of delay as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The organisers restricted attendance in the opening ceremony march-past to 31 members for each of the 11 participating nations.
