Our exponents ready to fight in women’s recognised team event

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia may have been robbed of a sure victory in the taekwondo poomsae mixed pair event but they are likely to strike back through the women’s recognised team event at the Hanoi SEA Games.

Malaysia’s Jason Lim-Nurul Hidayah Abdul Karim proved their pedigree again after winning the mixed doubles silver in the World Poomsae Championships in Goyang City last month but the surprise came in the women’s recognised team event where Hidayah partnered Lim Jia Wei and her sister Nur Humaira to win the bronze medal.
