Hidayah and Humaira join Jia Wei to kick their way to world bronze

PETALING JAYA: Sisters Nurul Hidayah Abdul Karim and Nur Humaira Abdul Karim together with Lim Jia Wei kicked up a storm for Malaysia in chilly Goyang by taking bronze in the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.

Nurul Hidayah, Nur Humaira and Jia Wei had raised medal hopes in the women’s poomsae team Under-30 category after the trio managed to qualify for the final rounds. The top eight pairs after the preliminary round made the cut for the finals, which is held on a knockout format.
