PETALING JAYA: Philippines SEA Games gold medallist S. Prem Kumar (pic) was the only Malaysian exponent who managed to survive until the third round of the ongoing World Karate Championships in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The 27-year-old managed to enter the last 16 before he was eliminated in the men’s kumite 60kg event due to the referee’s apparent bias in favour of Russian Iurik Ogannisian.
