PETALING JAYA: There was a huge slash in budget for sports but plenty of cheers for our para athletes.

In a surprise move, there was no allocation for the Podium Programme despite having major tournaments next year which include the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Asian Games in Hangzhou and SEA Games in Vietnam.
