PETALING JAYA: National Sports Council (NSC) director general Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail has admitted they are frustrated by the doping cases that continue to occur in the sport of weightlifting.
A dejected Shapawi said the NSC, together with the relevant parties including the Malaysian Weightlifting Federation (MWF) and the National Anti-Doping Agency of Malaysia (Adamas), have implemented numerous anti-doping initiatives in recent years but they continue to be haunted by doping issues.
