PETALING JAYA: It’s thumbs up for Malaysia’s para athletes after pulling off their best-ever achievement with three golds and two silvers in Tokyo.
The three golds were won by powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin, shuttler Cheah Liek Hou and long jumper Abdul Latif Romly, while Jong Yee Khie and Chew Wei Lun boosted the medal collection with silver in the powerlifting and boccia.
