Olympics-bound athletes to get jabs today


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 264 athletes and officials involved in the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics will receive their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today in preparation for the multi-sports Games.

The Youth and Sports Ministry, through a statement, said it would take place at the Desa Tasik Sports Complex Vaccine Dispensing Centre (PPV) in Cheras and that their minister, Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican was also scheduled to receive his jab together with the athletes.
