Sports Industry Financing Scheme launched to revive businesses

PUTRAJAYA: A whopping RM20mil has been injected to revive sports businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic under a new Sports Industry Financing Scheme.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said the scheme, launched in partnership with the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (Medac) yesterday, would prioritise owners and operators of sports premises and facilities.
