MWF put faith in ex-weightlifter Naharudin to handle national team

PETALING JAYA: Former weightlifter Naharudin Mahayudin has a big task to uphold Malaysia’s long-standing golden streak at the Commonwealth Games after he was appointed as the new head coach of the national team.

The Malaysian Weightlifting Federation (MWF) are putting their faith on a local coach to take charge of the national team for the first time and is not renewing the contract of Chinese coach Wang Shiquan after it ended on Dec 31.
