PETALING JAYA: After 39 days of being stuck at home with no outdoor activity, the shadow of depression looms over many athletes – and it just got worse with the two-week extension to May 12.
Only five days ago FIFPro, the organisation for professional footballers from 65 countries around the world, published results of a survey which found that the percentage of players reporting symptoms of depression has doubled in countries with drastic lockdown measures.
