A weight off the lifters in Johor Sukma

PETALING JAYA: A weight has been lifted off the shoulders of the Malaysian Weightlifting Federation (MWF) – their request to have Olympic events at the 2020 Johor Malaysia Games (Sukma) from July 11-19 has been given the green light.

Weightlifting was in danger of being kicked out of the Sukma programme after the event in Perak two years ago was marred by three doping cases.
