PETALING JAYA: Karate exponent A. Somanroy believes his strong bond with father figure Ali Reza Souleymani is a plus as he gears up for the Philippines SEA Games.
Iranian coach Ali Reza, who took charge of the kumite team last November, guided Somanroy to the top eighth in the World Karate Federation (WKF) Under-21 rankings.
