Leicester's Slimani joins Monaco on season-long loan

(Reuters) - Leicester City's Algeria forward Islam Slimani has sealed a season-long loan move to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, the Premier League club said on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old has struggled to secure a starting spot since joining the Midlands club from Portuguese side Sporting in 2016 and spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce.
