BEIJING (Reuters) - China defeated Europe in its first ever win of the hugely popular Tencent Holdings Ltd -owned competitive video game League of Legends on Saturday, according to the official China Central Television (CCTV).
The victory comes amid an intensified crackdown by Beijing on online gaming this year driven by fears of worsening rates of myopia, or near-sightedness, among young people.
