JAKARTA: Malaysia are assured of at least a bronze for the contingent's first medal at the Indonesian Asian Games after taekwondo exponent Yap Khim Wen made it to the semi-finals of the poomsae (demonstration) women's individual on Sunday.
Khim Wen, 24, earned 8.200 points to narrowly edge Ji Yuhan of China's 8.180 to set up a last four clash against Iran's Salahshouri Marjan which will be held at 3.10pm (4.10pm Malaysian time).
