SEA Games: Malaysia wins two Karate gold medals


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia claimed two golds in the SEA Games Karate competition on Tuesday.  

Celine Lee Xin Yi (pix) delivered the first gold with a solid performance in the women's individual kata event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. 

The 23-year-old Celine beat Sisilia Agustiani from Indonesia.

Malaysia's second gold was contributed by Lim Chee Wei, who beat Indonesia's Ahmad Zigi Zaresta with a score of 3-2 in the men's individual kata event.
