PETALING JAYA: Former Asian championship silver medallist Shaharudin Jamaludin is making a comeback to help karate achieve its six-gold target in the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games from Aug 19-30.

Shaharudin, who only started training with the national team in Bukit Jalil two weeks ago, bagged the gold in the men’s kumite below 67kg category after beating compatriot Muhd Arif Afifuddin 8-0 in the final of the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
