Malaysian riders claim a 1-3 finish in Tokyo

PETALING JAYA: It was a joyous day for Malaysia when two pairs of riders came in first and third in the men’s para-cycling road race event in the Meiji-Jingu Outer Garden Criterium in Tokyo, Japan.

Mohd Khairul Nizam Mohd Ali-Muhd Nur Syafiq Suhaimy crossed the finish line of the 24km race in 37:40 ahead of Japanese pair Tatsuyuki Oshiro-Hiroshi Takahashi (37:59) on Tuesday.
