Fiji PM announces public holiday after first Games medal


RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Fiji Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama announced a further day of public holiday for the Pacific island nation on Thursday after its rugby sevens team won the country's first Olympic medal.

Fiji were crowned the first men's Olympic sevens champions after crushing Britain 43-7 in the final of the inaugural tournament in Rio.
