Olympics-Brassard quits as Canada's Chef de Mission for Rio

TORONTO (Reuters) - Former Olympic moguls champion Jean-Luc Brassard has abruptly stepped down as Canada's chef de mission less than four months before the Rio Games, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) said on Monday.

The COC said Brassard stepped down for "business and personal reasons" and named Olympic cycling medallist Curt Harnett as his replacement for the Aug. 5-21 Rio Games.
