Gacina bags winning point for Croatia in world table tennis meet


SHAH ALAM: Croatia, thanks to Andrej Gacina, qualified for the men’s Division One last 16 of the World Team Table Tennis Championships after a nail-biting 3-2 win over Russia.

With the last Group D match tied at 2-2, Gacina held his nerves to beat Kirill Skachkov 11-4, 11-9, 11-6 to clinch the winning point.
