Aaliyah bags another silver in Asian waterski meet

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian water skier Aaliyah Yoong ended her campaign in the Asian Championships in Bangkok on a positive note by winning a silver in the women’s overall event.

Aaliyah, a two-gold medallist at the Singapore SEA Games in June, tallied 2,032.24 points on Sunday to finish behind Japan’s Saaya Hirosawa who had a 2,547.14 total. South Korea’s Kim Su-mi took the bronze on 1,736.74.
