KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Snooker and Billiards Federation (MSBF) will not give up their hopes of getting the sport into the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.

The sport, a regular gold-medal contributor, was surprisingly left out from the initial 35 sports listed for the 29th edition of the regional biennial Games. In Chiang Mai in 1995, the Sam Chong-led Malaysian team won six golds for their best-ever haul in the history of the Games.
