KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia have achieved their target of reaching the semi-finals of the women’s World Petanque Championships – despite losing to France in their opening match.
The young Malaysian girls lost 13-4 to France but bounced back to beat Vietnam and the United States by identical 13-0 scores in Group A of the triples category at the Arena Petanque PPWPKL Pudu, Ulu Cheras, yesterday.
