KUALA LUMPUR: The National Sports Council (NSC) have downplayed the need for an official gold medal target for the national contingent at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games from July 23-Aug 3.
NSC director-general Datuk Seri Zolkples Embong said yesterday he was more concerned with the conditions of the Games-bound athletes than projecting a gold-medal target.
