Weightlifting: Aisyah pulls one over training mate

KANGAR: Kedah weightlifter Nur Aisyah Mahamud turned out to be a fox in the hen house to scupper Kelantan’s hopes of bagging a gold in the Sukma women’s 53kg and below category at the Kem Bina Negara in Kuala Perlis.

Nur Aisyah, who had trained with the Kelantan Sukma squad in Kota Baru for the past seven months, edged out the east coast state’s main hope Asma Suriani Ruzimi to the snatch gold medal on Thursday.
