Tougher fight in store in Myanmar for wushu squad


Ho Mun Hua got the first gold medal for Malaysia at the World Wushu Championships via men’s nanquan.

PETALING JAYA: The next battleground for the Malaysian wushu team will be in Myanmar and national head coach Yoong Thong Foong does not expect it to be any easier despite an impressive performance at the just concluded World Wushu Championships in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia basked in their best ever achievement with four golds, five silvers and five bronzes to finish third behind China (17-1-0) and Iran (7-0-3).
