JOHOR BARU: Malaysia let slip a sure victory against Pakistan in their opening Group B match of the FIH World Hockey League semi-final tournament at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium last night.

The Malaysians were so dominant that they took a 4-1 lead after 38 minutes. But as in previous matches, Malaysia again failed to close out the match and Pakistan fought back to snatch a 4-4 draw.
