Shahidan needs Cabinet nod to hold posts, says Khairy

PUTRAJAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim who heads a number of sports associations at the state and national level needs to get the Cabinet’s approval to remain in the various posts.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said thus far there has been no exception for the former Perlis Mentri Besar to remain as the president of the Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (ASUM), as per the Cabinet’s directive in 2007.
