PETALING JAYA: National road cycling team captain Muhd Rauf Misbah did the country proud by bagging the men’s individual time trial gold medal for Malaysia on the first day of the pre-SEA Games cycling championships in Naypyitaw, Myanmar.
Rauf overcame dehydration and stiffling heat to post a time of 1’07:27.771 with an average speed of 43.76kph over a distance of 49.3km.
