KUALA LUMPUR: Wira rider Nurahmad Fariznazreen hopes to use the second round of the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship to close the gap on frontrunner Hafiza Rofa at Stadium Hang Jebat in Malacca this weekend.
The Mos Track Pro Yamaha Racing rider was disappointed over his poor showing in the opening round at Stadium Batu Kawan in Penang earlier this month. Nurahmad could only qualify for second row (sixth) but finished the race in second place – 5.108 seconds behind Hafiza of Warner Pumps-YSP.
