Sunshine and roars replace rainy gloom at Masters

AUGUSTA, Georgia (Reuters) - Sunshine and roars replaced the damp and dreary conditions at Augusta National with eagles and birdies flying as Dustin Johnson grabbed the lead midway through the second round of the Masters on Friday.

The big-hitting American, seeking his first major title, bogeyed two of his three holes in windy and rainy morning conditions before birdies at the fourth, ninth, 10th and 13th took him to seven under par for the tournament. A bogey at 14 dropped him to six under.
